The Ping Pong: A Backyard Drama in One Act

Totoy, captain of the Canary Steel Band is confident his band can win tonight’s Steelband competition with prizemoney for all, provided nothing happens to his sweet-sounding ping-pong which is ‘tuned like a racehorse’. A thief cuts through the back yard fence, the ping-pong is stolen. Former band member Jigger is blamed for the crime, but he swears it wasn’t him. The band’s group discipline and loyalty is tested, and a private jealousy emerges.
