Synopsis
This play concerns the lives of Jean and Ingrid, two best friends, and their views on life. After a big night out, Jean discusses the similarity of men and goldfish, and explains that she is unhappy with her abusive partner King. Ingrid is in denial, but eventually admits that she has resigned to man’s abuse being the only reality possible. A weekend visit from two matriarchs in Jean’s family kicks the girls into gear, as they hear weary tales of unhappy marriage and domesticity.
