Synopsis

Tracey Gordon, the 67 bus, friendship, sex, UK garage, school, music, teachers, friendship, periods, emergency contraceptive, arse and tits, friendship, raves, tampons, white boys, God, money. Friendship. Aaron, Candice, sex and Connor Jones. Chewing Gum Dreams is a one-woman play that recalls those last days of innocence before adulthood. The play was originally staged at the Yard Theatre and directed by Che Walker prior to being staged at the National Theatre’s temporary space, The Shed.

 

This play is suitable for Key Stages 4 and 5. Users can watch a recording of the play via the National Theatre Collection to stream in schools or by booking a time at the National Theatre Archive (located in Waterloo, next to the Old Vic Theatre).
