Synopsis

A surprise visitor from Jamaica arrives at the cramped Clapham high rise flat where Florence lives alone – her children are grown and her husband long dead – making the best of her lot with neighbour and close friend Eunice. The visit unsettles both Florence and Eunice and challenges Florence’s life of quiet acceptance, and her thoughts on home, family and friendship.
