Synopsis

A two-person play set around a hook up between two black men. One is openly gay, while the other protests that he is straight. After a complicated exchange and a night of romance, they deliberate on what a relationship between them would be like given their differences in queer identification. They disagree on what it should mean to be out, or openly gay, and attempt to find a compromise of compatibility. The play explores modern black queerness, and the differences that one’s background can have to such relationships.
