Biography
Ronald Amoroso was a playwright and director from Trinidad and Tobago. His play the Blood Clot was first staged in Trinidad in 1970 and he went on to write a further sixteen plays including eight folk musicals. Amoroso’s The Master of Carnival, adapted from a short story by Euton Jarvis, was judged the most original play at the English-language drama festival in Caracas in 1972.
