Peter Rodda

Biography

Peter Rodda born 1937(-2003) was a South African educator, anti-apartheid activist and author. Imprisoned and interrogated by the South African government in 1964, Rodda managed to leave South Africa for England where he became a teacher in Hertfordshire and began writing plays about his South African experiences. His works include Biko, cowritten with Alton Kumalo.
