Micere Githae Mugo

Micere Githae Mugo was a Kenyan playwright, poet, academic and activist. She was forced into exile from Kenya in 1982 during the reign of Kenyan president Daniel Arap Moi and moved to teach in Zimbabwe and later in the United States.
