Malaika Kegode

Malaika Kegode is an award-winning writer, performer, poet, and creative producer based between Bristol and Plymouth. Beginning as a performance poet in 2014, Malaika has since developed her practice to encompass theatre, radio and screenwriting. She is the winner of the 2022 Kevin Elyot Award, an Associte Director at Theatre Plymouth, an Associate Artist at Bristol Old Vic and the writer in residence in the Univeristy of Bristol’s Theatre Collection. Her work for theatre includes Rot (Tiata Fahodzi).
