Biography
Born in South London to Ghanaian parents, Levi David Addai began his playwrighting career whilst studying at Brunel University. His first play 93.2FM was performed at the Royal Court in 2005, and this was followed by productions of Oxford Street (Royal Court) and House of Agnes (Oval House). In 2011 Addai was awarded the Alfred Fagon award for his play Blacklands, which he wrote whilst on attachment at the Royal Court.
