Desmond Jolly
Biography
Desmond Jolly’s story was featured in the 2016 Young Vic production of Now We Are Here, which focused on refugee stories of LGBTQ+ asylum seekers in the UK and their lives. The show was conceived of and written with Deanna Rodger, Ian Rickson and Imogen Brodie. Actor Gary Beadle performed Desmond’s story.
